Every woman carries great potential.
In response to the unique needs of at-risk women experiencing reentry into the community, we have developed a program with a focus on job training, employment, empowerment, & support. Our innovative and holistic approach ensures women break the cycle for themselves, their children, and future generations.
Job Training & Employment
Through the Candles for Change program, The Stella Projects supports local women who are rebuilding their lives. The program provides women with jobs to supplement their income while they learn new skills and work toward acquiring financial stability.
The Stella Projects also supports women internationally through the Cards for Change program. This program provides training and artisan business kits to help women start and grow their small businesses.
Empowerment & Support
Along with job training, The Stella Projects aims to support women in building self-confidence, interpersonal skills, self-esteem, and self-worth. Our goal is to instill dignity and promote stability for survivors. Through The Stella Center’s programs, we empower women and stand beside them as they succeed.
